In a significant financial maneuver, Strategy, the renowned institution with the largest Bitcoin holdings among public companies, has executed a record-setting initial public offering (IPO) to bolster its Bitcoin reserves. By successfully closing the IPO of 28,011,111 shares in Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, Strategy amassed an impressive $2.5 billion. This venture marks the most substantial IPO of 2025 and one of the pioneering feats in the realm of crypto-related offerings, with shares trading under the ticker STRC on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.

The net proceeds of approximately $2.474 billion from the offering have been strategically channeled into the acquisition of 21,021 Bitcoin at an average price of $117,256 each. Reflecting a bullish sentiment within the investment community, several financial analysts have revised their price targets for Strategy's stock (MSTR) favorably. TD Cowen, among others, has raised the price target to a potential high of $680, fueled by the optimistic outlook towards Strategy's capacity to maintain a premium net asset value while expanding its Bitcoin repository.
